Well, now we are back and tempted to say, ...Part 2

Well, now we are back and tempted to say, the most pleasant of this evening was the way home, but no that would be ungratefully and unnecessarily unfriendly, the conversation thereafter was also quite stimulating.

But the way back was marvellous, as well known often it is a greater promise, than the destination could ever fulfil. And it was an autumn way along the lake. To idly ask, whether we already have autumn, because there are certain signs: The air smells unexpectedly at a touch of wood smoke, the noises in the evening sound somewhat hollow or reverberate and even intensive warmth has somehow a cooler background.

When I stood at the lake, I saw a few lights and heard far away the noise of young people, which enjoyed obviously a night bathing. And once, when the grey-white reed ends were intense swaying in the wind before the moon light, which was reflected from the surface of the lake, I thought briefly a ghost emerged from the water, it has honestly frightened me.

To Heine again, it is often so that it would be better for a topic, someone wouldn’t burden it with his interest, a somehow fitting quote from Nietzsche: „In praise there is more pushiness than in blame.“ Straightforwardly said, this is valid just as for me, I know from him much too little, since I read him not often enough, because I became never really familiar with him, whatever the reason may be. But, even if that’s actually a bit too much for this place, to present the most interesting poems of today's evening without comment, that is perhaps appropriate and right.

In the pictures by the way one of the neighbour cats is to be seen again, I don’t know why they are rather prefer to be here, at least they are more here than at the neighbours I guess, probably, because there are many birds to hunt. And now Mr. Heine from his end, where his humour become a little, so to say, poignant and he become somewhat befriended with the idea of faith. And so God wants and we live, we, I will write tomorrow again something about C.D. Friedrich.

(That’s today.
