The past week has seen increasing cold (= decreasing temperatures) in these parts. Today it barely got above freezing; and it's only a couple of weeks since we started regular getting overnight temperatures below freezing. Although snow is beautiful, I'm happy not to have to deal with it yet.
I really don't like the winter cold weather. If I could afford it, I'd be very tempted to spend winters in Florida. Ah, but then I'd miss a large part of the symphony season.
@Rosabella Die Grüße habe ich ausgerichtet, danke. Es war so eine Spontanentscheidung nach dem Schneeberäumen, da es nicht so sehr kalt war, der Wald beginnt in vielleicht 100 Metern Entfernung. Offen gestanden, ich bin ansonsten in meinem gegenwärtigen Lebensalter ziemlich furchtfrei, und zum ersten Mal nach sicher Jahren wurde es mir irgendwann etwas mulmig, seltsam.
@naturgesetz We had a very early winter this year, and my enthusiasm for this season has declined over the years. My ideal season would be an early autumn with moderate temperatures. Btw I think you're still too young for Florida :-)

@Jason Glad you liked it, strangely, it wasn't that cold, even though it was around 2 in the morning or night, only a bit eerie.
