Sonntag &

roughly translated

I admit it feels a bit weird today to continue with the usual routine, but anyway. Actually, this was different from planned, but at the end - just another ordinary duck. It looks a bit strange, probably because I let it too long in the oven (the filling was very sour apples & to the sauce was added some lemon juice), wasn’t bad for the taste, only the appearance. The Brussels sprouts got as usual some freshly grated nutmeg. And since I at least wanted to introduce one new thing and I'm not a great lover of boiled potatoes, I also cooked rice, first cooked it then steamed in a colander for a short time with tangerines. So if someone doesn’t know what to do with already a wee bit dry tangerine, this version is highly recommended.

naturgesetz hat gesagt…

I wouldn't have thought that rice and tangerines, or any other citrus fruit, would work well together, but if you say they're good, I'm sure it's so.
