Ich schlafe jede Sekunde ein, dachte ich noch, bevor ich mich hinlegte. Und mit einigen ungeplanten Stunden Verspätung gibt es also heute den üblichen Bericht. Ich gebe mal dem einschläfernden Sturm die Schuld. Wir kochten heute aus der Tiefkühltruhe sozusagen (die mußte unbedingt abgetaut werden). Der Rest eines Schweinebratens mit Kräuterkruste (man sehe hier) wurde in eine Pastete verwandelt. Dazu gab es Champignons. Und ich habe noch ein paar Bilder von der Adventsdekoration hinzugefügt. I'll fall asleep any second I thought before I tried to take a nap. And with a few unplanned hours late, here is the usual Sunday report. I blame the heavy & soporific storm. Today we cooked from the freezer, so to speak (which necessarily had to be defrosted). The remains of a pork roast with herb crust (you can see it here) was transformed into a pasty. There were mushrooms as well. And I've added a few pictures of the Advent decoration. More pictures than text so this time.

That's a clever reuse of the pork. I suppose the pastry crust helped keep it moist. And the mushrooms certainly browned up beautifully.
Naps are the penalty I pay for being a night owl.
:) Genau, das war die Absicht. Ich hatte zwischen die Fleischscheiben noch Butterstücke eingefügt, es war alles sehr gut, ohne mich selbst loben zu wollen. Ich hoffe Sie befinden sich ebenfalls wohl.

Sorry I made the comment a bit half awake, the meanning was indeed: the intention of the pastry was to keep it moist. And I like to hear you are fine.
