Herbst-Sonntag

I like to tell myself (and sometimes others) that we should consider it summer until Columbus Day (formerly October 12, now the second Monday of October). And therefore I wear my straw hats until then. But most people think of Labor Day (first Monday of September) as the beginning of fall.

So you are back. It was more about the abeyance of feeling like autumn; btw, at least I finished the Augustine post. Thanks for the visit.

Autumn Sunday

It is unclear whether we have already autumn or not, anyhow, it feels like that. The pictures are a bit cheating, since they are actually from last evening, today were haven’t quite the weather to do so. Yesterday however I could sit at the lakeshore and read out loud to the ducks and me poems of Robert Frost; the ducks seem not much impressed somehow.

@ The Kid etc. Thanks I really appreciate that, even if I was not that satisfied with the picture, but the moment was nice, me reading Frost, the ducks around me and nobody else.
