Zwischendurch - Bilder

translated

I'm not sure I quite understand the last bit about what surprises you, so I'll just say that it was only toward the end of the series of photos that I realized that the sculpture had not be originally designed and made the way it now is. So the humor is yours, not the sculptor's.

Today I was asked why my blog is so impersonal. Well, I'm tempted to say, out of an act of personal charity. But well, we want to give today a small appearance of privacy. I admit I am one of those who’re using Twitter nearly every day, and since my last avatar picture was still stuck in Christmas - it looked something like this - I thought it was time for a change, and after several attempts (they are subsequently documented) this was the result. Frankly, the only thing that surprised me was that some could still see it as really macabre (considering the macabre times we are living it looks nearly innocent I think), in an age where all variants in this regard were really played out to final fatigue.

Dear John, as you can see I’ve translated it. I used this figure from the terrace that not quite survived the winter (I think I’ll piece it up) to make a “funny” picture. And I was indeed surprised it makes a strong impression considering the pictures we are used to see meanwhile.

Thanks for the translation. I hadn't quite caught the drift of the last few lines (even with babelfish).

As you can tell from my first comment, I found it an amusing bit of whimsy, and not at all macabre.
